Frustration

March 11, 2010

GRRRRRR!

After feeling better for a couple of months, I think I am backsliding.  For the past couple of weeks my allergies have been giving me a lot of trouble and no amount of vitamin C or anything else is helping.  It is so frustrating and it’s increasing my chronic fatigue.  The continual facial bone pain from the sinuses is maddening.  It seems that I can’t take any stress at all to body or mind without bad effects.  But I’m not giving up.

This past week I went to see a Natural Health Doctor for the first time in hopes we can find a way for me to overcome the allergies, improve my health overall, and restore hair loss from hormone imbalances.  There will be some non-invasive testing over the next couple of weeks.  Meanwhile, today everything is getting on my nerves and I’m soooo tired and feel really crabby.  Have any of you felt like this? Send some prayers my way, will you?  Thanks.

Yeh, many times, altho today has been a good day. If you can, put your feet up and rest.

Will certainly pray for you Barb, more than once! Thinking of you too.

  3. Barb,
I can relate! I am praying for you. Please say a prayer for me, too. I am going to a new doctor today, I would just like to know what I have for sure so I can take the right steps to get help. Good luck with the Natural Health Doctor! I went to a naturopath for a few years. I learned a lot but my disease seems to be progressing still. Hopefully you will get some relief!

  5. Thanks, Ros and Mary. I’m doing better today. Face pain has a tendency to make me really growly and put all my nerves on edge. I got some good news: my iodine levels are good and my thyroid tests came back earlier from my family doctor in a good range. So we can eliminate one factor and move on to others.

Mary, God bless you and I will pray for you that your new doctor can do something for you. High maintenance bodies are a real nuisance but a great opportunity for earning grace.

  7. Barb, I will pray for you. I went through a period of chronic pain, albeit short, and it gave me a real insight as to what people go through who suffer illness which does not leave.
God Bless you! (seems some over the counter items and St. Joseph helped me).
