Mary, I think prayer is our strongest weapon. Probably the greatest temptation is to give up hope. We must never forget that God is in charge. For those who are not disabled, carving out time to study our Constitution and get involved politically in some kind of conservative action group would be good. I am encouraging a young man I know to consider a career in politics because he is smart and staunchly pro-life. He drives the libs in his college classes batty. That is about all I can think of. Those who want to follow God's commandments can not sit by waiting for Somebody Else to do the job.

Coincidentally, my aunt who just had knee surgery is recovering and receiving physical therapy at a nursing home until she can go home. I believe you are right, these measures will lead to many deaths that need not happen. It makes me very concerned for my parents, too. My mom is in good health but my dad has many medical problems.
Our country needs a lot of prayer, Barb. What next? That's what scares me. When people lose respect for life it's a fast descent unless the Lord steps in to turn it around.
