Springtime
April 9, 2010
The sun is shining and the air is fresh. A few days ago I shot some photos of the blooming trees in our yard. The weeping cherry was just gorgeous. This picture is cropped from one photo I took and then painted. It’s a challenge to manage my digital art program with the hand tremors I’ve got, but it is a great relaxation opportunity. Sure looks like I have plenty of room for improvement, but I hope you like it.
Below: This is a watercolor painting of the weeping cherry looking upward at the blossoms with the sky as a background, so now you have a side view and an upward view. Digital capability is really great for someone like me. These delicate blossoms always remind me of Our Lady.
