DNA Nutritional Assessment
April 14, 2010
Yesterday my husband and I went to his follow-up visit with Dr. Stuart Hoover, NHD. Dr. Hoover is the founder of Essentials2Health Advanced Natural Health Care Center and was recommended to us by our family doctor. We went to Dr. Hoover because Roger’s cholesterol ratios were bad and his blood pressure was too high, but I threw a fit over one of his specialist’s desire to put him on prescription drugs. I believed his problems could be solved without drugs. To make a long story short, in only 30 days not only did his blood pressure move into a normal range two weeks in, his color improved and another nuisance problem disappeared. We accomplished this by omitting excessive sugars and refined wheat from his diet, adding in foods and taking supplements recommended by Dr. Hoover.
This was not a cheap venture and we made sacrifices to take advantage of the opportunity to correct problems Roger has had for a long time. The costs were reasonable, though and we are learning a lot. Most of all, I am happy my skeptical husband is turning into a believer in the holistic approach to health!
Wellness is precious and will grow more so as the medical system in this country continues to be ravaged by bad government policies and pharmaceutical companies whose ethics leave a lot to be desired. That’s why I got excited about an approach to good health that appears to have a lot of promise and which may very well allow people to avoid getting trapped in the medical system which is anything but “reformed” by the latest crazy bill Pelosi, Reid and Obama shoved down our throats. Dr. Hoover told us about a new way to eliminate the guess work involved in selecting supplements we need to function our best. It’s called DNA nutritional assessment.
We’ve all heard about DNA if we’ve been awake since the early 1990s. Who can forget the O.J. Simpson trial where DNA played a featured role? Now it is possible for us average people to have our DNA tested to discover which of our genes might need extra support to keep us feeling as good as possible. With my health issues I can say that this is worth looking in to and it may well be helpful to my readers, too.
A little background here: 99.1% of all our genes are shared throughout the human race. It’s the .9% that makes the differences between people. Some people have genes that predispose them to heart disease, others to various types of cancer, and others to various neurological problems, obesity or other problems. Just because we have a predisposition to a particular disease, though, does not mean that we necessarily have to fall victim to it. DNA nutritional assessment allows us to find the specific genes in our bodies that need extra support and then access the supplements that best fill our individual needs.
Next week I will be seeing Dr. Hoover to get the results of my hormone tests and hope to get on the road to an end to my chronic fatigue, if possible. I will also arrange for the DNA test for myself and will report how following this approach either helps or doesn’t help me with my neurological problems and other heath issues.
If you want more information, click the links above. GeneWise is a multilevel marketing company that provides the DNA analysis and the custom-designed supplements which I will be obtaining from Dr. Hoover. I am not interested in becoming a distributor myself because I don’t do well in MLM ventures, although MLM has been a great avenue for some excellent products to come to those who need them. I am only informing readers that this approach to health may very well be an answer to many people’s problems.
