My friend took the picture of her cat and let me use it for practice. Corel Painter 11 is a supersonic jet. It is the most advanced digital painting program out there. All my life I've wanted to be able to create art, but the closest I came was to be a professional photographer. Then I discovered Painter and am so excited that I can create the kind of art I've always wanted by using photographs. I'm just learning and having fun right now. I started with Corel Painter Essentials and was intimidated by the more complex Painter 11, but after a few weeks I wouldn't give it up. Digital painting is part of my wellness program - it is really relaxing and keeps my mind off the state of the world. Thanks, Evan.
