I have and art and photos album at Facebook you are welcome to look at. If you sign up to be my friend you will get to see all my postings, among which are the art pieces I paint. I am a beginner at art and it is through Corel Painter 11 along with Adobe Photoshop Essentials that I am able to create my work. I have a tremor in my hands, but that's OK using digital brushes. If you goof up, just back up and re-do. You can try out many different looks until you find the best type of brush and color palette that expresses what you want. Corel is like having a fantastically supplied art shop on your lap top. I work from photos because I can't draw freehand. Digital paintings can be printed through services that specialize in this step of a finished work. Someday I hope to be able to do paintings for people from photos they have taken as well as sell my own work.

Such lovely Sabbath Moments! I completely relate to #2! I feel that same sense of peace and joy when I hang laundry outdoors to dry as well!
I hope you will share more about your digital painting. I am unfamiliar with this art form. Would you allow us to see your work...or tell us more about how it is done? I am very interested!
God bless you in your Sabbath Moments!

Colleen, I promise you will not be disappointed in the book. Father Philip lived what he wrote. His saintly simplicity and total humanness inspired me. If I could be like him everything would be right in my world.
