New Blog Ring

Mary at The Beautiful Gate has started a new blog ring titled “Blogging for Jesus.” I first got to know Mary from participating in Sunday Snippets every week and have been reading her blog regularly.
Please visit her post on this new ring and if you are doing what St. Paul tells us in Col. 3:17:
All whatsoever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father by him,
participating in this ring is a way to make your blog better known. You don’t have to blog on strictly Catholic subjects to join this ring. Your intent is what counts. So go read Mary’s post and be a part of the New Evangelization Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict have called for the laity to do.

Thanks, Barb! As you say, it’s a way for people’s blogs to become better known and to pick up some traffic. All the links work so far (I checked them) and I hope more bloggers join. During the month of June I’m going to be doing a special Novena to the Sacred Heart for those who have joined and I’m going offer “Blogging for Jesus” as a gift from all of us to Him in honor of His Sacred Heart. I have a strong devotion to His Sacred Heart

It’s interesting about devotion to the Sacred Heart. To me it is a way for us to gain a deep personal relationship with Jesus. We might study our Faith a lot and know many things intellectually, but until Jesus becomes a real Person to us we freely speak with any time of the day or night, we are missing something. Thanks for doing the Sacred Heart Novena. I should do it, too.
Hi Barb. What a neat idea. Do you think the ministry site and/or mine would be a fit for the blog ring? I looked at the ten present members and wasn’t sure.
Anything that lifts Jesus as Lord is a wonderful exercise.
