Christmas Photos: Treasured Memories

Who doesn’t enjoy photos of a cute kid? I’m in love with my little grand niece who entertained us so charmingly on Christmas Eve. I have adorable grand nephews, too, but they weren’t in town this year so we couldn’t get any pictures. My husband took these with our Canon digital camera. I cropped and tinkered with the originals to whittle them down to what you see here. Photoshop is a great toy for enhancing images. We could have never so easily made corrections for red eye and lighting using our film cameras.
As I worked on these photos, it occurred to me that many of us today are blessed with the longevity to enjoy several generations of family for many years. I’m looking forward to seeing the cute grandnephews and this little one growing into fine adults, but these photos will be the keepers of the treasured memories of the past.
